I’m here to announce I haven’t disappeared. What a bonus.
I had a trip to the ER which I was able to quickly bounce back from. have been working on an amazingly doofy-cute dog portrait for a new client, as well as a tattoo for a long-ago friend, and have been hunting for a new apartment (one of which happened to be an old funeral home from the 1800s). Things are busy but lovely.
I got a review at work in which my boss’s “only complaint” was that I didn’t make the hospital cat a St. Patrick’s day costume. (I made up for it with the above costume — requested by the most Catholic of coworkers to celebrate the new pope). And yes, that is his Popemobile.Enjoy, and I hope to get back into the swing of posting soon!
